How to change icon size on Android

For example, Android Nougat 7.0 and later versions offer an option in settings to adjust the size of icons. Samsung phones offer additional home screen settings to do this. How to change icon size on Android
Android smartphones come with default icon sizes, but you can easily change the size of the icons. If you have a newer Android smartphone, changing icon sizes is a quick setting.
- Swipe down on the home screen and tap the gear icon at the top right to access your Android’s settings menu.
- Scroll down and select Show to open the Display Settings menu.
- Select Advanced to expand this section.
- In the Advanced Display Settings menu, select Screen size.
- In the Screen Size window, move the slider at the bottom to adjust the size of items on the screen. You’ll see an example of what the text and icons will look like at the top of the window.
- Now when you return to the home screen, you’ll notice that the icons on the screen are larger, depending on where you’ve adjusted the size settings.
If you want to change the size of the icons or reduce the size of your app icons, follow the same procedure as above, but set the item’s indentation size to a smaller (on the left) instead of larger.
How do I reduce the size of the icons on my Samsung phone?
If you have a Samsung smartphone, changing the size of the icons on the screen is even easier.
- Go to the home screen and long press anywhere in the blank area. You will see menu icons appear at the bottom of the screen. Select the icon Settings· Bottom right.
- In the home screen settings window, there are two options to adjust the icon size. Home screen grid.
- On the Home Screen Grid page, use the icons at the bottom to adjust the number of icons you want to display on each Home screen screen. The more icons you allow, the smaller those icons will be. Select To savewhen you’re done.

- Back in the home screen settings window, select the apps screen grid to adjust the size of the icons in the windows apps on the screen. Adjust icon sizes in the same way, using the selection grid at the bottom of the window. Select To savewhen you’re done.
The icons on the home screen and apps screen will appear in the size you selected using the grid settings when you’re done.
