How to record a phone call with Android

Google has come up with its own way to record a phone call with Android. This is done directly from Google’s official Phone app. Not everyone has access to the feature, though. There are a few requirements, which we will look at below. The options for using call recording may not appear if you cannot use the service for any reason.

Requirements to record the phone call with Android via the Phone app:

Make sure you are using the official Google phone app. Download it from the Play Store. The device and the operator must support the function. You must be located in a country where the feature is supported. Your device must be running Android 9 or later. Make sure the Phone app is updated to the latest version.

1. How to record an Android phone call using the Phone app. Open the Phone app. Press the 3-dot menu button. Select Settings. Touch Call recording. You will see a series of options that ask you which calls you want to be recorded. Follow the instructions and press Always record.
2. How to Record Android Phone Call of Selected Contacts. Open the Phone app. Press the 3-dot menu button. Select Settings. Touch Call recording. In Always recordtouch Selected numbers. Activate Always record from selected contacts. Select the button add in the upper right corner. Choose a contact. Awards Always record.
3. How to record an Android phone call during a phone call. Make or receive a call. Look at your screen during a call. You should see a button Register on the screen. Select it. Touch Stop recording to… stop recording.
4. How to listen to recorded calls. Open the Phone app. Press on Recent. Tap the call you recorded. You should find it in Chronology if it is a call made some time ago. You will see the registration. Push the button Play.
