If you want something that comes close to a native experience, it’s easy to create browser shortcuts to iCloud web apps and access them from the home screen. Just follow the steps below! In my tests, the functionality of iCloud for Android was a bit poor. In theory, you should be able to access all of the aforementioned web apps just like you would from any desktop browser. Unfortunately for me it wasn’t like that. The keyboard immediately disappeared in the Notes app after it appeared, so I couldn’t type anything and the reminders didn’t even show up as an option. On the other hand, you will be able to view, upload, download and share photos from iCloud without any problems. Grouping the photos into albums also worked perfectly and I could easily hide and show the photos. Find iPhone also works flawlessly.

All in all, there is still a lot of work to be done, but it’s a good start. If you are using an Android device alongside your Mac, iPad or iPhone and want to take advantage of Apple’s iCloud services, this is your best bet for the foreseeable future. We don’t see Apple developing a native Android app. However, hopefully, this iCloud mobile web experience will be expanded to create a more complete and less buggy user experience.
