MOSCOW, 29 Aug — PRIME. Gazprom supplies gas through Ukraine at the Sudzha gas measuring station (GIS) in the volume of 42.2 million cubic meters confirmed by the Ukrainian side on August 29, the application for the Sokhranovka GIS was rejected, said the official representative of the Russian company Sergey Kupriyanov.
More than half of EU countries have filled UGS facilities above the target level
Ukraine has stopped accepting gas for gas transit through the GIS “Sokhranivka” since May 11, indicating that the facility is under the control of Russian forces (on the territory of the LPR). As a result, only one entrance remained for gas transit to Europe – the Sudzha GIS. Gazprom stated that transferring all volumes to Sudzha is technologically impossible, the company fulfills all obligations to European consumers, and transit services are fully paid.
