Norwegian police report ‘incomprehensible situation’ at gas plant

MOSCOW, 13 Oct – PRIME. Police in Norway said there was an “incomprehensible situation” at the Ormen Lange gas plant.
France starts gas supplies to Germany
“The police report an unclear situation at the Ormen Lange gas plant in the commune of Eukra,” the NRK television and radio company said in a statement.
The enterprise began evacuating employees, called for police reinforcements, and the municipality formed an emergency headquarters.
Later it became known that the plant received reports of a bomb threat, which turned out to be false.
According to the data, Ormen Lange is one of the largest gas fields in Norway. The company supplies fuel to Britain and provides 20 percent of the country’s gas needs.
