Nvidia confirms the mobile RTX 3000 series at the center during CES 2021

The countdown to the digital CES 2021 trade fair has begun in earnest and on January 11, it’s time to take part in the technology giants’ new additions. Some manufacturers have started secretly, while others are content to confirm that live broadcasts are on the agenda. Among the latter are Samsung and Nvidia, where the green team will hold court on January 12 at 18:00 Swedish time.

Since the launch of the Geforce RTX 3000 series, data on the RTX 3060 and RTX 3080 with 20 GB of graphics memory has been leaking at regular intervals – two possible candidates for Nvidia’s announced broadcast. Through a post on Twitter, the company confirms that another low-stakes player is at the center, namely “Ampere” -based graphics cards for laptops.

Anyone who has their eyes on the shaft sees that the short clip shows a picture of a laptop followed by a graphics circuit surrounded by eight memory circuits. These point to the highest degree to Nvidia lifting the lid on new mobile models, which already appear in databases for performance tests.

At the beginning of the year, Geforce found the RTX 3080 via Geekbench 5, when the mobile variant with the smallest possible margin whipped the RTX 3070 for stationary use. A version of the Geforce RTX 3070 for laptops should also be on the way in and for both there is talk of 8 GB of graphics memory, but the more powerful card can be implemented with double the amount of memory.

Finally, it can be added that one of the images in the short film clip contains a brilliant “Geforce RTX” text, which resembles the side of a graphics card. Whether the RTX 3060 or an already launched card with extra memory will accompany the mobile remains to be seen. As usual, SweClockers will report in connection with the live broadcast.
