In a week, Nvidia is expected to take the Pascal architecture to the entry-level segment, then with the GP107 graphics circuit replacing the GM107 in the Geforce GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750. The graphics cards that will use the GP107 will be the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050, which are expected to compete with AMD’s Radeon RX 460.
Price information on the duo has previously circulated in several reports, which spoke in unison about $ 119 for the Geforce GTX 1050 and $ 149 for the GTX 1050 Ti. Videocardz is now publishing an image that is said to come from an Nvidia presentation, which talks about lower prices than that.
According to the new information, the graphics cards will cost 109 respective 139 dollar, which corresponds to SEK 1,200 and 1,500 including VAT. This means that the GTX 1050 goes directly against the AMD Radeon RX 460, which has entry prices of either 109 or 119 dollars with 2 GB and 4 GB GDDR5 respectively.

In terms of specifications, the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti has the full-scale variant of the GP107 with 768 CUDA cores, 48 texture units, 32 raster units and a 128-bit memory bus accompanied by 4 GB GDDR5. The second model, GTX 1050, will have a scaled-down circuit with 640 CUDA cores and 40 texture units, while halving the amount of GDDR5 memory to 2 GB.
The screenshot also strengthens the information that both models have a specified TDP value of 75 W, which means that there should be variants from partners without an extra 6-pin PCI Express connector for power supply. The manufacturing technology for the duo is believed to be 14 nanometers from Samsung, which if true is a trend break for Nvidia, which for many years has had TSMC as its exclusive partner.
The launch of the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 will take place on October 25.
