Nvidia in Italy brags about Kepler on Facebook

The current Geforce GTX 500 series with the architecture Fermi under the hood is fast approaching retirement. Instead, it is the famous Kepler, first and foremost through the graphics processor GK104 in 28 nanometers.

The fact that the launch is creeping ever closer is nothing new, and at Nvidia Italy, someone with clear magic tendencies has a hard time keeping their fingers in check. On the company’s official Facebook page, a statement appeared for a short while, where the message is crystal clear – Kepler is coming, and nothing can beat the newcomer.

The latest information is that Nvidia Kepler will be launched sometime in March, after the Cebit trade fair. The first version is said to have 1,536 CUDA cores, 128 texture units and 32 ROPs. There should be 2 GB of GDDR5 memory on the 256-bit memory bus and the clock frequencies are said to amount to 950 MHz GPU and 5.0 GHz memory.
