“Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the number of significant attacks on the Russian information structure has grown 4.5 times,” he said.
According to the head of the department, work to improve the security of Russian networks and the national segment of the Internet, to ensure sustainability and security, began in 2014 on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In addition, Lipov noted the need for long-term development mechanisms in the new conditions of “this constant multiple attack on our information infrastructure, aimed at attempts to restrict access to Russian sources of information, key government resources, financial and socially significant services.”
