According to unofficial sources on the network, the final version of the Windows 7 operating system (Windows 7 RTM) will be released within the coming days of June.
Recall that Wzor announced that Windows 7 RTM will be released no later than June 21, 2009, and that two builds of Windows 7, 7260 and 7261, collected in recent days, have been approved by leading engineers and managers of Microsoft as full-fledged candidates for Windows 7 RTM. By the way, not so long ago the assembly 7260, intended for a narrow circle of testers and partners, “leaked” into the network and caused quite a bit of noise.
On the other hand, Neowin, an equally reputable source in these matters, says: “According to our own reliable sources, Microsoft is targeting Windows 7 RTM on June 26th.”
Recall also: Microsoft Corporation announced that retail sales of Windows 7 will begin on October 22.
