The Ministry of Economic Development gave a forecast for export gas prices

MOSCOW, 28 Sep — PRIME. The average price of gas exports from Russia to non-CIS countries is expected to be $829.5 per thousand cubic meters in 2022, $449.9 in 2025, follows from the forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development.

Gas prices in Europe again rose above $2,000 per thousand cubic meters

In addition, in 2023, prices for gas exports to non-CIS countries, according to the base case, are expected to reach $700.3. In 2024, the indicator may drop to $550.3, according to the forecast data for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for 2023 and for the planned period of 2024 and 2025.

Also, in the baseline scenario, the Ministry of Economic Development predicts that in 2022 world prices for Urals oil will drop from $80 per barrel in the second quarter to $71.9 in the fourth. In 2023, the average cost of an oil barrel will drop to $70.1. In 2024 it will be $67.5, and in 2025 it will be $65.
