During the quarantine period, the Brave browser added 1 million additional users. Brave CEO Brendan Eich said monthly active users rose from 12.2 million to 13.5 million in March. In terms of daily active users, the number increased from 4 million to 4.3 million.
Brave also launched a special page featuring statistics on content creators active in the Brave Rewards program. Brave.com/transparency mentions that the program includes 290,000 YouTube channels and nearly 50,000 websites, over 56,000 Twitter profiles and about 40,000 on Twitch and Reddit.
Those who participate in Brave Rewards are rewarded with BAT tokens for viewing ads.
