The clipboard is like a container. Temporarily save anything you copy on your cell phone (for example a text). Its objective is that later you can paste it or duplicate it in another place.

Android already incorporates the clipboard function from the factory. You can try it right now. Press and hold your finger on a text to select it. The system will automatically offer you the “Copy” option. Then hold your finger on a text field and the “Paste” option will pop up.

Advanced APP to copy and paste texts

The limitation of the cell phone clipboard is that it only saves the last item copied. If you previously had other text copied, it will have been replaced by the last one.

In that case it is useful to install an advanced clipboard, which stores several items and you can easily choose between them later. There are several applications for this purpose, such as the following three.

Clip Stack

An excellent APP that allows you to access your copied texts from the notification bar. By expanding your notification (two fingers down) you can directly copy any copied text from there.

As seen in the image above, you can also manually add texts to the clipboard.

Native Clipboard

This APP offers several ways to display the clipboard (with a long press, or with a double tap). Allows you to fix the texts or erase them easily. To make the app hide automatically after pasting, activate the “Easy Paste” option.

The disadvantage of this application is that if it is displayed at the same time as the keyboard, you will not have access. To solve this, in its configuration, choose “Sizes”> “Clipboard Size” and make sure that the lower strip is above the keyboard.

Copy Bubble

The most attractive thing about this application is that it works as a floating or bubble clipboard. From there you can have all the texts or images that you have copied, in any application in which you are working, with virtually no clutter on the screen.

After downloading and installing the clipboard

Whatever APP you install, make sure to open it and activate it or configure it if that is the case. Then, copy the normal way we indicated and the text will be automatically saved in the clipboard APP.
