Gigabyte lists its Z690 motherboards to the EEC, most models will feature DDR5

Less and less is missing for the launch of Alder Lake-S and 600 Series motherboards, and brands are already beginning to validate their models before different government entities. In this case, it is Gigabyte who listed its Z690 motherboards before the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission), revealing all the models that the company will launch during this new generation:

As you can see, Gigabyte prepares a total of 27 Z690 motherboards, of which 10 use DDR4 memory and 17 use DDR5 memory, differentiating itself from Asus which uses DDR4 in half of its Z690 motherboards, and DDR5 in the other half. In addition, almost all models have DDR4 and DDR5 variants, so there will be options for all audiences no matter what type of memory they want to use.

Most of the models are known models, although we see new models like the Z690 AORUS ELITE STEALTH, which by name could be a black model, possibly without RGB, ideal for those who prefer a PC free of lights. We also see that Gigabyte will continue with its Tachyon extreme overclocking line presented alongside the Z590 motherboards, so it seems that its sales were good even with its high price.

The Z690 motherboards are expected to be announced in late October, possibly October 27 when Intel announces its Alder Lake-S processors during its Intel Innovation event, so there are bound to be a lot more leaks and listings from other manufacturers soon. Stay tuned to HD Technology for more information on Intel’s upcoming platform.
