How to Find Large Files in Windows 11

Do you usually search for a file on your system by file name only? But what if you forgot the name of the file but you know its size? There is a way to find the largest files on Windows 11 PC based on file size. Let’s see in this article how to search for large files.

Steps to get large files in Windows 11

Paso 1: Open File Explorer by pressing Win + E together on your keyboard.

Paso 2: After File Explorer opens, to view hidden files

Go to View> Show> Hidden items As shown below.

Paso 3: Then go to the folder where you need to find the file.

If you don’t know the name of the folder, click This PC and perform the search operation as mentioned below.

Click on the search bar at the far right of the window.

Then write size:> 10 MB and hit Pay in key on your keyboard.

Note:- You can enter the value of the file size according to your search criteria.

Paso 4: You can see the search results for files larger than 10MB in the screenshot below.

In this way, you can search your files based on file size in a particular folder or your entire Windows 11 system.
