The backspace key is one of the most used keys on your keyboard as it helps to delete a single letter, an entire word or an entire sentence and correct what you have been typing easily and quickly. We are used to hitting the backspace key to erase and correct what we have typed so far, however sometimes you may notice that you are erasing only one letter and this can be frustrating. How to fix backspace by only deleting a letter

This method allows you to change your keyboard settings via the Settings app, which can help you fix backspace issue and delete only one letter on your Windows 11 PC. Please follow the instructions below to continue:

Step 1: Press the win + me keys simultaneously on your keyboard to start the Settings application

Step 2 – In the Settings app window, go to the left side and click Accessibility.

Step 3: Now, go to the right side, scroll down and under the Interaction section, click on Keyboard.

Step 4: Next, in the keyboard settings window, go to the right side of the panel and find filter keys.

Now, move the toggle switch next to it to the left to turn it off.

Now exit the Settings window and try using the backspace key on your keyboard and it should be working normally now.
