How to fix Windows Installer error code 2755 in Windows 11/10

6. Name this new folder as installer and hit Get into to save the name.

  • Click on the three horizontal dots at the top left and select Options.

7. Restart your computer and check if you can install the application without any problem.

Solution 2 – Disable encryption in the apps configuration file

1. Go to the location of the installation file for the app you were trying to install.

Solution 3 – Add SYSTEM as a user for the configuration file

1. The right button of the mouse in the problematic applications installation file and select Properties.

3. Click on the Edit… button under the Group or user names section.

Solution 4 – Start the Windows Setup service
