1. Free up storage space
If your device is running out of storage, your Android phone will go slow. Google states that you will start noticing performance issues when there is less than 10% of the storage space available on the device; we think keeping unused storage at around 20% is better. Here’s how to remove the clutter. Open the app Settings. Tap Storage or search for “storage” in the search bar of the Settings. If you see that the available storage is less than 80%, you can follow these steps to free up storage space.

Make sure your phone’s bootloader is unlockable, without that, you’re probably out of luck.
