1. Hit the Windows key and type restore in the search box.
2. Select Create a restore point in the search result.
3. In the system protection tab, click the system restore button.

5. In case you select choose a different restore pointlater select a restore point of the list. Click on Next.
6. Confirm the selected restore point and click Finalize to start the process.
7. Once the system restore is complete, check if the command prompt is working as expected without issue.
