How to create a SHORTCUT in Chrome Android (web pages)

By creating a shortcut to a web page on your Android, you can open it in one tap. No need to open the browser and type the URL manually.

The result is practically the same as adding the shortcut to an application on the desktop or home screen of the cell phone. In one touch you will be inside.

This is practically highly recommended to access Facebook and avoid installing the official application, which slows down the phone and eats up the battery.

Create shortcut to a web page in Chrome

The procedure is carried out in the cell phone’s web browser. It varies from one browser to another, but it is basically the same in any one. Next I explain how to put web pages on the Android desktop with the Google Chrome browser.

• Open the web page in the Google Chrome browser.
• Expand the Chrome menu (three-dot button, top right).
• Tap on Add to main screen
• Enter a name for the Shortcut.
• Click on Add

A short message will appear on the screen saying something like “androidjefe.com added to main screen.”

The shortcut icon for that web page will appear on one of the Android home screens (desktop). Every time you want to open that site, just click on that icon and it will immediately open in the default Android browser.

How to Add Website Shortcut in Samsung Browser

It is done in a similar way in the factory browser that is installed on a Samsung phone. The page is opened in the browser, the general menu opens, and the option for direct access to the desktop is chosen.
