How to download and install Gapps

Download and install the latest Google Apps (GApps) using this guide. Most stock ROMs come with preloaded Google apps like Google Play Store, Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps, Google+, Google Search, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Sync, Google Voice, Google Music and much more. Most of these apps can also be downloaded directly from the Google Play Store itself. Due to licensing restrictions, developers do not include Google Apps or GApps in AOSP-based custom ROMs. It is therefore necessary to perform the installation separately via a custom recovery. Remember that you have to install the GApps every time you install a new custom ROM. Without these Google Gapps, you won’t be able to use any Google services on your Android device.
