PUBG is free to play on mobile devices, however if you want to play the game on your PC, you must purchase it. PUBG is available for $ 30 on Steam. To pre-register;

Select Sign up at the top right of the login page.
Create a new account and make sure to activate it.
Once created, you will sign up for the PUBG free game launch.

If you have already purchased the game, you can try requesting a discount or refund, but it is highly unlikely that you will be able to get the full price back if you have already played. Steam allows users to return a game and buy it again if it has been released recently, but this is not the same case. If you already have PUBG on Steam, you won’t be able to get your money back when the game is free.
