How to Install Play Store on any EJ cell phone: Chinese, Huawei, Honor, etc.

Some Android devices do not come with the Play Store pre-installed at the factory. For example, some chinese cell phones or Chinese versions of a brand, such as Xiaomi (that is why you should prefer the global version of these devices). Neither are devices with special Android versions, such as tablets. Amazon Fire.

Fortunately, in most cases, you only have to install an application pack to have the Play Store running on these devices (no, the Play Store application is not simply necessary).

What you need to install the Play Store on your cell phone

1. Google Services Framework
2. Google Account Manager
3. Google Play Services
4. Google Play Store

Install these APKs in that specific order (locate the “Download APK” button on the page). Then open the newly installed Play Store app and surely you will be able to access with your Google account.

I’ve linked to slightly older versions of those apps to extend their compatibility. They shouldn’t give you trouble, if any with Google Play Services. If you want a more updated version (or earlier, if your device is incompatible) just browse each link a little to find all the available versions of each app.

If you have problems with this method, in the past it was also used to use Google Installer (en.miui.com/thread-3998-1-1.html, en.miui.com/thread-17910-1-1.html) an app not official that allowed to have the Play Store in chinese cell phones. Another way to install the Play Store and other Google apps is by “flashing” the package “GAPPS«, Although this requires a custom recovery (only recommended for expert users).

Google Transport (Huawei and Honor)

Googlefier is a recent alternative to install the Play Store on Huawei and Honor devices, developed in the XDA forums.

The great advantage of this method is that it is very easy to use, since it is simply an APK. You install it like any other APK, follow the instructions on the screen and that’s it. You do not need a PC, root or complicated things.

Its disadvantage is that for now Googlefier is only compatible with Huawei and Honor devices with Android 10 or higher and EMUI 10. For more information and descargar Googlefier go to the developer’s post on XDA.

Download APPS and Games WITHOUT Play Store

The disadvantage of the Play Store, or rather the Google Play Services component, is that it generates high battery and RAM consumption. If you can do without it, your phone will appreciate it. Alternatively you can download the APKs from the same Google Play store by other means, or use reliable repositories such as APKMirror O F-Droid.
