How to stop Chrome or Edge from saving browsing history on Windows PC

How to prevent Chrome from saving browsing history and data using Registry Editor
Step 1: Press Windows + R keys together on your keyboard to open the Run command box
Step 2: Write regeditar in the Run box and press the button Get into key to open the registry editor.
Step 3: Accept the UAC prompt by clicking Yes continue.
Step 4 – After the registry editor has opened, copy and paste the path below into the clear, empty address bar, then press Get into.

Step 5: After reaching the Policies registry key, right-click on it and hover over New and then select Wrench from the list to create a new registry key under Policies as shown below.
Step 6: The newly formed registry key should be renamed to Google.
Step 7: Then re-create a new registry key in Google by right clicking on it and selecting New > Key As shown below.
Step 8: Rename this to Chrome.
Step 9: Once done, right click on Chrome and click Nuevo > Valor DWORD (32 bits) from the context menu.
Step 10 – Rename this newly created DWORD value as Saving browser history disabled.
Step 11: Open it by double clicking on it.
Step 12: In the window, Enter 1 at value data field and click OK to make changes.
Step 13: Once done, close Registry Editor and reboot your system once.
Step 14 – Once the system boots up, start using Chrome browser and check if it is saving browsing history and data or not.

How to stop Microsoft Edge from saving browsing history and data using Registry Editor
Step 1: Press the Windows key on the keyboard and type registry editor.
Step 2: Then select registry editor from the search results as shown below.
Step 3: Click Yes at the UAC prompt to continue.
Step 4: Copy and paste the following path into the address bar and press Get into wrench.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoft
Step 5: Right click on the microsoft registry key and select New > Key to create a new registry key.
Step 6 – Rename this key to Should.
Step 7: Then right click on the Should registry key and select New and then click Valor DWORD (32 bits) from the context menu as shown below.
Step 8 – Name this DWORD to Saving browser history Disabled.
Step 9: Double click on it and once it opens, enter 1 in the value data and click it’s fine.
Step 10 – Close the registry editor window.
Step 11 – Reboot your system and wait until it boots up.
Now check if Edge browser is saving browsing history or not.
