Method # 3 – Disable Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry Service Using ShutUp10

ShutUp10 is a tool that allows you to improve privacy in Windows 10 and disable built-in services. With this tool we can block telemetry.

After starting the program, all parameters that can be locked will be displayed. To disable telemetry, select the following Security options in the section :

  • Telemetry disabled (1 of 3)
  • Telemetry disabled (2 of 3)
  • Telemetry disabled (3 of 3)

Alternatively, you can also use pre-configured settings that automatically configure Windows 10 for privacy and anonymity. To do this, select the “Actions” tab and the “Apply only recommended settings” option.

After applying these settings, restart your computer. Remember, however, that after every system update, Microsoft may restore telemetry settings, so you must restart ShutUp10 applications and apply the above settings.
